October 3, 2007 Movie is "Pursuit of Happiness", a
true story of a man's experience as a homeless
individual in United States. All church,
friends and family are invited.
October 17, 2007 After dinner a speaker from Indian
Housing Corp will speak to the youth about homeless.
October 20, 2007 The youth are collecting charitable
contributions for the homeless. Permission
slips are due by October 17. Friends of youth
may participate with a permission slip.
Youth are invited to make a shelter to sleep in.
Families are encouraged to attend the bonfire.
Middle & high school students are invited to camp
out with signed permission slips.

Live Nativity Reenactment
The children and youth at Rolling Hills
United Methodist Church present a Live
Nativity with animals in December at 6:00 p.m. &
6:30 p.m. The true story of Christmas is told
with our children and youth portraying Joseph, Mary, Angels,
Shepherds and the Wise Men. Come out and
behold the true meaning of the holiday. In
keeping with the spirit of giving, the youth
collect non-perishable foods for our local food
bank. |
